hahahhahaha this must be the bengong kind of topic in my blog
i just couldn't find a suitable but rather find it catchy and funny
You see, i have this Javanese blood in me. My late dad is a sporean (mostly they are boyanese/javanese that directly from Indonesia) and from Surabaya. He have this Sundanese and Javanese in him. So he know how to talk in Sunda and Java unlike me. I didn't managed to study and learn all that from him, but i heard him talking with my aunt occasionally
When i was little, i stayed at Spore till aged 5. So i am close with my favourite aunt whom i still kept in touch till now. Even i had moved to KL, i still visited her and the family. I grew up with all the dangdut songs. I listen to Hetty Koes Endang, Endang S Taurina, Jamal Mirdad and so on. Time tu Amelina or Sheeda ke takda lagi. tahun 80's kot
I danced with that songs, with my cousins, aunts and uncles including my parents. Or we all memang kaki joget la :p We went to karaoke and sing dangdut songs
As time passes by and i grew up, this dangdut genre doesn't suit to my ears nemore. Or maybe i was ashamed that ppl would discover that i am enjoying it. But whenever i hear it on the radio ke tv, i like it. Somehow i still can remember some of the lyrics
Now, if you watch the latest Gegar Vaganza, there's so much of dangdut songs/genre
Bukak youtube la, listen to it and i still like it. it also reminds me of my late dad coz he taught me how to listen and enjoy the songs, from my other side of roots.
reminiscing the old good times with my late uncle too. i cant denied that it's in me. This dangdut genre is in me.
It's just another genre music, but it's represent my other roots
