My ongoing breastfeeding journey

To date, sofia is turning 15 months and guess what? She still on breastfeeding(bf)
refer here for my earlier post on breastfeeding. 

Alhamdulillah this time the determination i had to keep on bf-ing her, pay off.

Throughout my bf journey, there's obviously an ups and downs. Not to mentioned the let down when my ebm (express breast milk) supply drops. 

 I was still a newbie when i had HM on board, thus there's not enough group support on BF and i had minimal info and guidance on this. So i have promised myself that for my 2nd baby i will do my best and tried bf as much as i could.  Every mothers should know that breast milk is the Best milk for our child, no doubt on that. 
And the first 6 months is the important and crucial time for us to give our baby breastmilk as it helps them to build up the natural antibodies in their body. 

Let me assure you that there's plenty of benefits both to the mother and child. This is some of it,  for the baby :

• prevents from diarrhea, ear infections, pneumonia and asthma
• cut the risk of SIDS 
• lower risks for obesity and developing allergies

While for the mom's are :

• reduces stress
• lower risks of breast cancer cancer and ovarian cancer
• prevents from postpartum depression 
• it also give the mom a chance to slim down by burning our calories while bf-ing our baby. 

Since i became SAHM , my bf-ing become  hassle-free

The supply and demand is there. But whenever i have to go out or for some work, i will still pumping and keep a stock. It's a never ending process

I  also managed to handle and control my bf moment while outside/on the go

Just need my nursing clothes/buttons or zipper clothes and my nursing bra, then i have no prob nursing sofia in public. At times, i just use my tudung to cover beside my nursing cover

As a mother we need to think creatively and multi-tasking kan

Insha-Allah this will be till Sofia turning TWO
