Anticipated me & Macau #1

Now, let's start this

This is the anticipated business trip for the year 2013, because

• my first year to macau
• my first year handling this event and i gotta chance to be part of this delegation that has at least 20 GM's/Directors from Hotels all over Msia that joined
• i gotta visit HK again for the 3rd time *wink*
• i will be jakun abit by flying A380 fir the first time 

so the day came, flights was early at 950am and que was long by knowing school hols started too

window seat, pillow, in flight entertainment, upper deck class, blanket - checked

meal - nasi lemak with Magnum ice cream as dessert of the day

in flight entertainment - the COnjuring (halfway as i fell asleep after that, kenyang) 

Reached HK airport was 12pm+ . (Yes, we flew to HK instead of direct to Macau with AA since we want to use MAS. MAS don't have flight to Macau)

So we are taking a speed boat/ferry from the airport HK to Macau. DO NOT go for HK immigration coz once you're out you can't go in back. So you have to go to Wan Chai (at town) to take the boat rides from there which gonna take longer hours 

Tips : There'll be a signage at the airport if you wanna take the boat to Macau. Just follow that and they'll have schedule too. Its about less than HKD200 (lupa sudah, pic should be in my camera)

Boat rides took about 45mins. 

#2 tips : its better to bring along your bag rather than check-in into the ferry/boat coz they don't have a proper luggage system at Macau. They just dump all your bags at one pick up point then you have to wait for your luggages to arrives (if you're lucky enough within the 1st trip your bag is there- so unsystematic) 

Outside the terminal, there'll be plenty of taxis waiting for you, just tell them your destination and go

#3 tips : HKD can be used at Macau, but they'll give you change in MOP. but MOP Cannot be used at HK. so spend wisely the MOP while at Macau :)

Arrived at my hotel name Landmark Hotel, organised by the organiser. Classy and huge room for just my self. and lucky enough to get free wifi (others don't have wifi and must go to the business centre room that operated only office hours, such inconvenience)

#3 city tour and the shopping part & say Good bye Hanoi

so mood menulis dah datang mari kita habiskan

so day 3, we went for city tour.
actually everyone was looking forward for the shopping part rather than this boring city tour, but we have to at least show to the Directors that we are going to learn some historical story about Hanoi. so drama la sket

but once finished visited the biggest lake in the city and the nearby temple, acara shopping sudah bermula. we separated by few groups then, ikut nafsu shopping masing2
there's a lot of choices of souvenirs you can get here. a 100% pashmina can get for VD1000 only. bags, shirts, shawls, tudungs are all around. just use your bargaining skills

As usual, i MUST buy something for HM. I declined to buy her more toys, so i decided bajula paling sesuai and found this one shop that sell all of baby/toddler's items, in pure cotton. I gone mad and managed grab 2 sets of baju for HM. Which that shopping moment lasted till night for our last kopek, esok sudah balik

balik hotel, rested, dinner, and pack for tomorrow


Day 4
no rush today so breakfast and all supposed to be at the lobby by at least 1030am
our flight was about 2pm+ and i flew with MAS (some others with Vietnam Airlines)
all jump into one van and journey to airport took at least 30mins

checked-in and board directly, still have time about an hour plus while waiting for plane, so i sempat habiskan my dong duit by going for a 30mins foot spa
bliss, lega, best. ngam2 habis when they're started calling passenger for boarding

in flight - meal, entertainment was ok and reached home about almost 7 after all the ding dongs at the airport and transport

syukur alhamdulillah

rezeki  berpihak to me again which i have found out that there's something in my womb :)

after all those words and claimed they given to me, Allah has prove that they are wrong and utterly has no rights to say that to me

this may sound so new and i have not announce it yet at any social media beside here 

coz in here, i want to make it as journal *like what i did for HM dulu*

at least there's a memories for me while reading this progress monthly

Doa yang terbaik for me as i promise to be and want a better 9mo journey for me and baby

Syukur Amin Ya Rabb ! 

to Ha Long Bay we go

day 2
as early as 8am (hanoi is one hour behind Msia) we are ready for our whole day journey to Ha Long Bay. if i am travelling on my own, i would maybe choose to stay on the cruise and enjoying the view. Get an ideas about it here 
anyway, journeys took 3hours lebih (kebas bont) but it was way better that my journey from phnom penh-siem reap. sceneries are more on paddy fields. otw, we stopped at one of the tourist crafts centre (maybe kot) and the moment i stepped out from the van, it is so chilly and windy (plus its still rainy). To the loo i went hahahha

looks like she's the only left out and still shopping, i guess. everyone waited and there's an evil idea to just left her out hahaha

so we arrived at the port. weather is so hazy and foggy. and windy too.

in our itinerary, we should be having our seafood lunch in the boat while enjoying the rides

beside than watching at the fishes, we had this opportunity to be in a small sampan and went to the other side of the cave. paid USD6/person for almost 40mins rides, sailed by a strong-muscle-woman.

"ok good, one more", we posed again, praying too that no ones jatuh dalam laut (i have 4 huge men in the boat with only 2 tiny girls inside. so unbalanced)

 once we entered to the other side of the cave, masya-Allah the view is just spectacular.
surrounding is so peaceful and calm. saw eagles flying on top.

Exploring Hanoi

Alhamdulillah, dapat rezeki to went hanoi on company trip this time

the hotel we stayed had halal food. Its Cosiana Hotel & Spa. Reviews from Trip advisor was so promising and yes it is.
location wise are good and quite distance (45mins drive from airport)
just got to know that Hanoi are also having 4 season weather but obviously no snow la but the temp can go down as low as 10c and sometimes below 10c

We took a package with the hotel consists of room + bbf, trip to halong bay, transport, city tour, meals (lunch & dinner) for 4d3n including of transport to and fro airport for almost 20paxs and per pax cost us USD217/person and twin sharing basis USD262/person

1st day
reached hotel about 230pm and later we are to have our brainstorm & budget presentation 2014. Dragged till 8pm and later had a hearty dinner and tido. weather been raining cats and dogs and so i decided to just get a rest and prepare for the long day esok

from far i thot its a wig shop but then they sold helmets. lol

Krabi story #3 - the pool and the end

Anyhoo, our 3rd day at Krabi only half day gitula

Kitorang bersiap again this time for slightly jauh sket journey to the Emerald Pool and the hot spring waterfall. Journey by van took us almost an hour but we stopped for light breakfast at this one pitstop yg ada jual souvenirs. lepas dah isi perut sikit, we proceed. Place a bit out circuit and we went to this hot spring waterfall.
From the main entrance to the waterfall we walked about 15mins and when arrived,
"la, itu je waterfall nye?"

haha yes, so disappointed after so much walking. The waterfall dahla sesak ngan tourists yang lain and the tempat only that seciput? the waterfall has 3 small layered but somehow the top part airnya warm. ada yang mandi and kitorang ni malas nak bersesak dengan anak lagi takdelah nak terhegeh nak mandi hot spring yang kekdahnya macam di Malaysia pun ada.

Then menapak keluar and terus pi Emerald pool pulak. Been seeing reviews about this pool that has natural emerald color based. tapiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
to reach to this pool you have to walk and slightly mendaki about 30mins (depends on your speed) hoiiii, mencabar sungguh. masin ada anak sorang while si ain (yg preggy) and ucop bawa 2kids. my HM the first 5mins je rajin jalan the rest carried by ayah at the back.

When finally we arrived, the crowd are not that packed so we tried to find a best spot to
ber "picnic" kejap and mandi. Unfortunately i am only the paparazzi of the day :/
Spend about 45min-1 hour here and started walking back  which by then everyone was so starving and we had lunch at a one muslim kedai. Tapikan the hygiene and surrounding a bit poor la. i just hope that none of us had tummy upset later but it was cheap i tell you

OTW back to hotel, we drop by at one of the Factory outlet yang kinda small just to test water and cuci water. There's nothing much there beside than a men/sports/ladies/kids/traveling section. As usual i found the kids dept are more attractive than mine. And disebab kan while naik motor haritu to have our dinner, tah cemana la i boleh tak sedar that HM's mothercare sweater (yes, must mentioned the brand coz for me that sweater mahal gile) jatuh and gone. Dah siap patah balik and carik but takde rezeki la
i pray that any poor girl/family yang berniaga tepi jalan tu found that so they can use it

Back to hotel while we rest and plan for our dinner at that village area again (they preferred to have nasi campur style rather than eat at Aonang area, maybe coz its cheap and sedap?)
While we decided to have our dinner at Aonang and this time a bit western as we find it ketika naik motor and meredah hujan (yang started w gerimis then tetiba lebat) plus ada anak dihimpit in between us is sooooo not a good idea. We don't want to take the risks of putting our daughter main hujan, meredah jalan malam2 with no proper raincoat/attire
Kami rasa takpelah kami spend lebih sket as long kami semua tak demam and nothing happen in results of naik motor and meredah hujan ( this depends on each parents)
so we had a bit of western today and its pizza.

back to hotel and we packed (more to me!) and ready for our early flight tomorrow



and as expected AA ni tak famous if flight tak delayed. so we wait a while and nak flight tidolah. reached KL and home sambung tido lagi. hahha, unpacked can be done the net day as i am still on AL

the headscarf updates

tadaaaa. i'm still here. alive :)
actually tulis blog must be persistent otherwise when you have stop writing about it for some time then rasa malas muncul (tapi sibuk baca org lain punye updates je)

I have finally decided to wear headscarf on bulan puasa haritu
i'm still a newbie, still learning to be a better muslim and slowly adapting myself
Alhamdulillah Allh permudahkan my urusan.
So now my shopping list has changed and so the wardrobe. buying more tudung/shawls now. Man, shopping (tak kira brg apelah)  is interesting. From to the mall itself/via online purchase or IG all of the tudungs are so nice yet cheap (some) - confession of a sort-a shopaholics (mild) hahah
Thanks to friends that has led me to the better ways in life and for sharing some tips/ideas on the headscarf. Very much appreciated for your support.

Gone

tahun 2013 ni macam tahun terima berita terkejut
mostly are sad news la
news yg i tak sangka sungguh

setiap kematian adalah pasti . but that's the fact kan

it's all first started when the former GM of Taman Negara passed away on the 1st Jan 2013
what a sad way to celebrate your new year
but i am truly blessed that we've managed to visit him and that property on oct 2012 after so much pestering from him to me and my boss
we spent that 3d2n well together
no internet, social activity etc except for important sms and calls

1st Jan, received news that he is gone. after the major operation sometimes in march-may 2012 that he went through to throw his colon cancer. He is recovering but still
as others said, when it comes to silent killer cancer and at stage 4, it's just on your luck to survive the next life

i cried for him :

and recently while everyone is busy celebrating our raya, that particular 7th August i have lost my deary friend and personal doctor Dr Bhavani which i used to call her nick as Dr B or Bunny as her other friends knew her

My lovely and attentive doctor which i knew since she's been at my work panel clinic way back 2005 onwards. Not only she's been very helpful as a patient-doctor relationship but she is willing to assist by advising onto your personal health and life. We continued keep in touch as she and family decided to move to Dubai for a change in life and career. And i got pregnant, and we continued emailing each other and updates our life phase so on. Through out my 9mo  pregnancy, she has been there for me to seek 2nd opinion advice.

And when they decided to move to OZ about 2 yrs back i think, we still in touch. Sometimes in FB too. She will  reply my email no matter how late it is. Tho we're miles apart but it feels so close to each other (sounds cliche?)

till my last email to her dated 7th July which she never replied me at all till 3weeks back.
Which i thought it is some kind of joke/prank email from her with titled : Join us in our mourning -__-

reading the email content has somehow made me think it was pure joking till i read thrice and let myself digest and accept that she is my favourite DR B that has gone away, forever.
i have no more personal doctor and friend that always be my side whenever i'm worried over my irregular periods, i have this issue and etc
my curiosity has been answered, she were in silent coz she was in massive car accident on 7th august when she's otw to work. as i heard from other docs that she had a massive  injured which left 50-50 chances.

Dr B, just want you to know that i cried like a little girl (that u used to tell me) and almost couldn't believed and accept the fact that you're gone. I am so sad and i don't know why it has given me so much impact. but i guess God has a better plan for you there.

I felt sorry for Chris, Nat and Tina

i wish i can tell them that you have been so proud over Nat that has went to special school for his talented gift and Tina for growing up into such a beautiful girl and of course Chris that has been there for u always 

Doc, i just feel that you have been helping me a lot and there's nothing that i did in  return for you besides that my doa that may your sould in peace there

i might be looked so harsh outside but i'm just a small little girl that you've known since my 20s till i am married with one daughter

ps : leceh update cerita sedih kat office coz sure meleleh and i can't help to hide it

Syawal 2013

few more days more to celebrate Syawal
cepatnye masa berlalu, sangat pantas speed runner. Tahun ni banyakla beno nak mengganti puasa nye. takpela, ada hikmah semua dugaan

Tahun ke2 without arwah bapak. Ah mentioned his name sure will shed a tears
tho dah biasa dgn ketiadaan beliau like before, but di bulan yg very holy and sayu ni
mmg terasa kehilangannya. Plus i'm not being a good daughter to him all this while, made me more sad. Takpela, dah berlalu and yang pasti, doa and kunjungan to his kubur will always be in my mind. *kesat air mata*

A whole new experience to me that i'm now fully berhijab.
started when HM turned three last 21st July, and i'm good with it

The Krabi story

aiyo sorry for the overdue posted
but rather than nothing lemme just do a quick update

this is our annual trip for celebrating our yearly anniversary and this time at Krabi
i managed to get a cheap AA ticket RM420/3paxs including luggage bagaila. it was during the ZERO fair on april

We stayed at Mercure Krabi Deevana. Honestly been looking forward to be here as i've read so many good reviews about it. Plus, trying my luck and yes i got it, a cheap deal for the room. RM155/night no breakfast. I immediately agreed (using the industry rate)

Checked on the weather and it says its gonna be hot and dry so we packed our stuffs all on one big suitcase as it all were light clothes. This time we went with few families too. So in total were 4 families but we're the one staying at Mercure. But the distance was not that far than theirs. No hassle as we rent our motorbike while there

Arrived. Checked in. Impressed with the room. Simple and nice deco

After rest a bit so we decided to check it out the town. Weather was blazing hot

While we walked, managed to get a "tuk-tuk", but this time a pink color and it's not in norm size, so it fit HM's stroller too hahahha.

Aonang area is not that busy unlike Phuket. dah whatsapp Ucop to meet somewhere to discuss the next itinerary. while waited, mari makan sekerim

Don't worry about the connections as wifi are almost everywhere
See, Malaysia still kedekut in providing while this place like Krabi is so generous bagi wifi di merata tempat. pfft

Escape to the Highland

Thankful for the clear blue sky nowadays

Its been bad haze for a couple of weeks ago.  everyone concerned
Thanks to our neighbor Indonesian for that. It seems like every year ey?

So we planned to take HM for a nearby getaway,  this time with my PIL (parents in law)
so at least they can have a bit rest and away from the polluted air

It's just to Genting Highland. and again we stayed at the first world resort
with a help, i get a 30% off from the deluxe rate so we can stayed at the World Club room, the highest at 28th floor. Amazing!  Traffic were smooth, within an hour we're there.

and later mama called and asked to go out. yeah its time to explore

walked. walked and heading to the indoor park. And so HM can have her rides.
We just need to top up the EZcash card, one that we bought last year when here
Crowds are everywhere. Spotted arabian's too (they just love to come here)

OK time finish from play indoor, lets go outdoor. Let's check it out how is the 'haze" here at Genting

Surprisingly it is not affected. It's just foggy and it's cold. Wahhhh, so happy that finally can breath in and out with a fresh air

HM and her kulit biawak (by husband) dengan bangganya tak sejuk at all. Refused to wear her sweater. "taknak taknak, tak sejuk" ikut sapelah tu?

ME i guess? hehe coz i refused to wear one too *wink*

and later we proceed to dinner at Pizza Hut je. Time flies so cepat and its almost 9pm+, so lets back to the room. before that, some sightseeing inside the mall and hop onto some rides including me :)

next day, after hearty breakfast, we went down for a quick rides for HM

We have like 20mins for another fresh air with car windows down before began to hit the highway and windows shut. sadly leaving the hills and hitting the polluted town *cough cough*

for granted me another year to live and enjoy life to the fullest

Syukur and thank you for all the gifts 

this is the day that i have everyone around me wishing and giving me a kind thoughts and words, for every hour

i am bless to have you all

Gloomy Friday

bila hati dah numb
semua jadi numb
hati meronta seakan perlukan perhatian
tapi adekah sesiapa yang perasan

perasaan 7-8 tahun kembali
seakan ingin aku buang jauh sekali
jauh dari lubuk hati
tapi mampukah aku membuangnya sepenuh hati

sakit. yes sakit
bukan untuk mengungkit tapi telah berjangkit
trauma.
untuk merasa sakit dan semua akan jadi serba tak kena
mampukah aku? kuatkah aku?
Allah maha mengetahui apa yg telah aku lalui
sesungguhnya mmg aku tak inginkannya lagi
cukupla sekali menghantui diri
itupun sudah memakan diri

Inginku bangun dari kegagalan
lupakan segala kenangan
Bangkit dan merasa bangga akan diri sendiri
dan menepis segala caci maki
Ya Allah berilah aku kekuatan dalam menempuh segala suratan

Farm in the City

Farm in the city, sri kembangan
sangat in the city. coz it's surrounded by highway and kinda new town at Equine area which is yet to be developed

I bought the deals at Groupon. Instead of RM33/adult, we get RM10 off. Plus kids below 3yo is free, so i bought two tickets
Just LIke their page in the FB, and you're entitle to get vitagen for each ticket

So before the dateline on 12May, we went last saturday the 11th may  (suka last minit sgt)
reached there almost 3pm and thank god for less crowded.
have seen one of my friend went before, mmg weather sangat panas, so we prepare with
light clothes. and decided to be all Green, in support with visiting the nature (ahaks)

The place is not that huge, almost 40mins dah boleh cover (depends on your time too)
And so we starts with visiting the 30yo and 38yo tortoise. These are definitely huge and have hard shells (just look at their age) and it was imported from South Africa
The attractions were feeding them with kangkung.

Later, we proceed to see phyton, white crow and bunch of friendly birds
HM has no problem bonding with them. I had the opportunity to feed those tiny birds and it's enjoying (tho i was skeptical beginning, but the ticklish feeling mmg ada)

FYI, they have a canteen for you to get some refreshment. So no worries, but the items could be limitedla

And so we proceed to the next animals which includes : giant rabbits, goose, burung kakaktua, meerkat, porcupine, horses, pelicans, butterflies etc

Towards the end, we reward our self with ice-cream as the weather is hot
It's a good strategy of marketing by introducing your new outlet which is a bit secluded by joining Groupon and so does other deals. It creates the awareness
I know that it's quite famous to all the kindergardens and taska coz they do field trip for those kids. Well at least its something new beside than the National zoo (5mins from our house teehee)
