Travel via Jetstar is also something new for me. But departing from KLIA was less hassle than being at LCCT (eksyen!)
Journey took only 1 hour so it was quite fast
Its been ages since i've been to Changi Airport which i used to travel SG via coach as its much easier. but bringing a toddler along you'll need comfortness and security wise it's more la. Changi has changed a lot, i mean a lot. They have more exciting decorations as Xmas is coming soon, more shops and spacious. You can even roll and roll alongside hahahha
They are 3 terminals, T1-T3 but i know definitely T3 has more shops for dine and eat and it's all connected via train. To go out from the airport just get the MRT which also inter-connected. And i need to go all the way to Clementi station, as that nearest to Bukit batok. Luckily one my gf is waiting and lead us the way. Otherwise with HM being cranky and her observant attitude, it'll might take a while to reach. Plus it was raining
We do not wait long for Orchard road. After a quick nap and refreshed, we are there. HM fascinated by the lights around. I must say SG has never fail to amaze us with their Xmas decorations. Sale were everywhere. Some of it are irresistible.
Day 2
This time we went to Vivo city mall as its nearer with Sentosa. And we heading to Cotton On Kids. Gosh, shopping for kids is enjoyable than adults haha. They were colorful and varieties design. I bought HM's leggings and tops which is 2for SGD20.
At night, we lepak at Marina Bay Sand area. They had this huge space for lepaking nearby the lake. It was so windy which i almost fall asleep. We enjoyed the view and the surroundings as much as HM do
Day 3
Although earlier planned was for swimming but due to HM and me had a slight cold, we cancelled that. Instead to Causeway Point to find those baby stuffs for my SIL who wants the Avent newborn set badly. Another madness inside there as i got excited and falled for all these kids stuffs. Just name it, from newborn baby items, toys, shoes, clothing, stationery etc. And the price are way cheaper than ours here. The Avent newborn set is only SGD55/box, which after conversion pun still cheap. Once shopping done, we went for a quick lunch at McD and that's where HM throw her worse tantrums ever. I guess she must be sleepy as it's past her nap time and so she started to being cranky and refused to listen and pay attention of what i'm saying, every single word. She just refused and i got fed up to coaxed her and she cried out loud there. very loud ok. And she started to baring kat lantai and refused to bangun. Aiyo i almost loose my temper there. And my cousin had to help me with that. after 10mins of crying and crowds were already staring at us, she's OK and we decide to leave for final packing.
HM also get the chance to visit my late dad cemetery where we spent 40mins there.
Travel with HM
when travelling alone with your toddler/baby, some of issue/tips might help :
- appropriate bag.
- things to distract them ie ; toys, games, books
- nap time - pls let them have it on time
- stroller/carrier - if needed
Travelling with HM is kinda easy actually. But sometimes tu she started to get tired so she wants me to dukung. And that's where it started. dah sekali dukung takmau turun pulak.
And i'm juggling between her bag, carrying her and my handbag/paper bag. Imagine that.
And always have your harness/keep an eye of your kids. Nasib HM jenis when jalan, she for sure wanna held our hands no matter what. Especially when there is a big crowds.
Safety is very important, everywhere!
