Bulan puasa sudah, 1436H

dah lama abaikan blog ni and now dah masuk july pun and we even in holy month of Ramadhan
its the 15th day of fasting days *shocking face*


Anyhoo how's your puasa been so far?
i've already had my ponteng days coz :

1- i forgot to bangun sahur thus i cannot tahan lama till berbuka unlike when i am not breastfeed
2- demam ( i need lotsa water to refill so i can produce milk for sofia plus to avoid from dehydration)

My berbuka meals for the first week i've been diligently cooked for weekdays and i get myself off on weekends (sendiri set rules haha)
with that i can sharpen my cooking skills (duhh) and make it variety
i am not a good cook but i can cook (if you know what i meant). We're also trying to avoid spending onto param. So far we went to 3-4 times je and had our limit spending on that (should control our nafsu rather than nak makan seemuaaaa)

Puasa while breastfeeding is not that hard. All you need to do is :

1- ensure you had a proper sahur. MUST. if you missed, doa that you will tahan till azan maghrib
2- eat the right food that gives you long lasting energy, inshaAllah. like ; Kurma with milk, nasi, oat or cereal
3- drink plenty of fluids. i know you can't stuffed everything during sahur but plan your intake accordingly. At least 8 glasses of water/fluids ( can be from soup, fruit etc)
4- of coz pray and doa that diberikan kesihatan yg baik and tenaga utk mengerjakan ibadah

Other than that my preps are so simple this year

baju kurung raya - checked and done
langsir raya - ready to be picked
duit raya - on its way :)
baju raya kiddos - checked and done. in fact i had slowly done this months before as i like to shop slowly  rather than one lump sum (been practicing this all the time so i can manage my spending)
kuih raya - with me hahah. some i had already makan (that's the bad thing of getting your kuih raya early, just hope it wont finish by the time raya comes!!)
