baby food exploring

my weekend has been extremely busy and tiring
u asked what did i do? 

  • i have been having this sakit badan for quite sometimes. Due to lenguh, tired, banyak jalan and i noticed its been 2 months i tak pi urut badan. normally i will have it once a month (yeah kinda my monthly routine now as it helps me to stay fresh and buangkan segala angin dlm badan) And i have this one favourite kak urut yang datang myhouse everymonth. Not only she do normal body massage, she also can do Urut pantang, cukurkan newborn baby hair etc. if you need her contact pls pm me (now my directory list has gone wider, kak urut pulak. LOL). i still remember that few of my friends used to called me a mobile directory. Whenever they need kerja they'll find me, if they need kak cleaner contact, find me. recently in FB, need tailor that can jahit nursing zip, asked me. LOL. anyway, i'm happy that i can help others. I know the feeling if we need help so here i am. Just buzz me if ada info i can share :)


  •  Since i did my groceries last Friday for Sofia's food prep, i have figured out her menu for this week. I tried to search Annabel Karmel's menu and some others from the FB page. My menu was :  chicken sweet potato with peas, pumpkin w sweet potato and grated cheese , apple and pear puree and also bubur nasi with salmon grill and broccoli. Apparently only first two menus je ada pic lain semua takde hahaha tak sempat nak snap. I hope Sofia enjoying her meals that i've prepared with so much love, sayang. The tips? cari menu ikut Annabel's (based on my choices). mix and match as what suits. so more to agak2 and campak2 je. below i append the ingredients :
A) Chicken sweet potato + peas
sweet potato, peeled and diced *
peas (i used frozen) *
chicken, diced *
onion, peeled and diced
unsalted butter
chicken stock

- masukkan unsalted butter and onion, sauteed kan few minutes - masukkan sweet potato, peas and ayam, simmer for about 5-8minutes, put chicken stock and done- after sejuk blend kan

* steam/boil half earlier


B) Pumpkin w sweet potato & grated cheese
sweet potato, peeled and diced *
pumpkin, peeled and diced *
cheese block (i use beqa red color)*
chicken stock

* steam/boil the items

- after all * done, grated cheese and wait till it melted, put chicken stock. then off for blend 



C)Apple & pear puree
apple, peeled and diced 
pear, peeled and diced

- this more straight forward, steamkan semua bahan and blend it. put water/BM to make it smooth


D) Bubur nasi with salmon grill, broccoli and pumpkin
beras *
salmon ( covered with lemon and di grill kan with unsalted butter/olive oil) -cooked separately
broccoli *
pumpkin, diced *

* since i'm using mixer yang all in used, so i put beras, pumpkin and broccoli all in, cooked together

- once the above * done, carikkan isi salmon and put chicken stock w bit of grated cheese and blend all in


managed to get 3 servings for each menu. So one week menu all covered. I prefer steam all the ingredients as it will preserved the nutrition better

Rajin much? hahha actually i forced myself to learnt and do all this for Sofia.
A mom gotta do what she have to do, despite you are a SAHM/FTWM.
