My Bangkok experiences #1

And so i was excited with my bangkok trip at my recent post
so ni nak share travel tips & experiences

As we went under company expenses, so most of it been paid which inclusive of
MAS flight tickets (return), meals, tours, transport etc
trip was on 12-15 Oct, staying at Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit
kat Bangkok itself tak silap ada 3 Novotels and siem reap is opening soon kot
boleh check it out at novotel's website la. so since kitorang amik almost 15rooms,  dapat rate reasonable. about RM250+/night/single, RM280+ for double and RM290+ for triple. Rates inclusive of bbf. And since my boss is a member of A-club, so memang kerja dia collect points je la.

12oct
keje half day (tak kerja pun, dah semua excited bebenau), by 12pm gerak to KLIA. all lunch dulu kat McD and flight at 3.15pm. then dah settled so ke boarding gate la. i did my own web check in coz i ada enrich card (nak collect point jugak tau) and choose my own seat, window seat la. then biaselah MAS bagi meal. menarik tapi coz dah kenyang, mkn sket je.

Reached Suvarnabhumi airport almost 5pm+ local time. Bangkok is one hour behind us tapi the sun rise awal yer. memang busy the airport, byk org keluar masuk kan :p
and as some of u knew, bangkok like ayuttaya part was flooded. the town is not yet tapi from what i observed while in the bus, some of the places diorang dah buat langkah berjaga2 by putting sand bags depan banks, umah, shops and kat mana yg they rasa should put in case air dari sungai naik. ada jugak some part yg air with muds dah naik.
yang teruja nya, bangkok ni ada so many colorful taxis. Pink, blue, yellow etc. but it doesnt mean any diff, semua pun sama je. pls ensure u naik taxi yang ikut meter. unless naik tuk tuk, boleh nego price la.  BTS Skytrain  pun ada, lagi senang tapi sama gak penuh dlm tuh. mostly kat town yg adelah train ni.

Sampai hotel je dah behind scheduled coz we supposed to have our budget meeting at 7pm tp extended to 730pm. ada about 30mins je to siap and get down.
masuk bilik teruja tgk coz the bathroom is see thru hohoho. rupenya ada blind la. overall deco sangat urban and modernize, cantek. worth la to stay. normal walk in rates i heard about rm500+.

 budget meeting takyah cakapla, boring tu for sure + lapar yang amat. imagine last meal was dlm flight sampai la ni dah kul 8pm tak ngap satu hape pun?
nasib boss ku prihatin, dia ordernya ligt snacks sandwiches & bun, coffee & tea to makan, bolehla buat isi perut jap

habis je budget meeting, semua bertukar rupa. hahahha ape lagi keluar la to survey around and cari makan. lapau oooo. abt 10pm+ kitorang keluar cari makanan halal and tgk2 brg kat market bawah tu (yg mcm petaling stree/batu ferringhi penang)
